Eric Wallace is a senior advisor and nationally recognized authority in Information Warfare with 30+ years shaping how the Department of Defense plans, organizes, and fights in and through information. He led cornerstone efforts that reset the enterprise’s approach to the information domain—including the Joint Concept for Operating in the Information Environment (JCOIE), the OIE Capabilities-Based Assessment that produced JROCM 068-19, and the codification of the Information Joint Function in Joint Publication 3-04, Information in Joint Operations. These initiatives helped normalize information across strategy, doctrine, and force development—driving practical change in planning, training, and operations. As the former Chief of the Information Proponent Division at the Joint Information Warfare Center, Eric directed multi-disciplinary teams and advanced DOTMLPF-P reforms and convened a DoD wide community of practice to accelerate adoption across OSD, the Joint Staff, Services, academia, and industry. Additionally, Eric served as the leader of a DoD level intelligence support to information operations community of interest providing value added leadership that facilitated CCMD, Service, and Intelligence Community interaction to solve intelligence support issues through OSD-directed studies, national-level forums (IO Roadmap, QDR), and command-level integration. Today, Eric serves as an IW Subject Matter Expert with Crescent-Bridge, LLC translating operational needs into executable solutions, leading cross-functional delivery, shaping proposals, and establishing best practices for government and industry partners. In recognition of his impact, he received the Information Professionals Association’s Order of Hermes (2022).
